The story

Why Markets Untold exists.

My trading education started in 2014, with a group of former Goldman Sachs traders who had left the bank and built their own service. I took their course, learned to read flow the way an institutional desk reads it, and traded live for their client base until 2017. That foundation shaped everything that came after.

I landed in Cyprus in 2017 and spent the next four years inside the forex broker industry, moving across roles, eventually as Head of Investment Research at Orbex. I saw the content side of the business up close: what brokers actually need, what they pay for, what works to retain traders, and what gets quietly thrown away. By 2021, I had a clear picture of the gap.

Markets Untold exists to close it. The forex content market is flooded with AI-generated noise from people who don't trade, freelancers using ChatGPT to fake analyst voice, marketing teams running prompt templates, agencies producing content that traders see through within seconds. Real analysis from a real practitioner is rarer than it should be. That's the gap. That's what we fill.

How I got to this desk.

2023 to now

Investment Advisor

Concurrent role with a CySEC-regulated broker, alongside running Markets Untold. Where the CySEC certification gets used in practice, providing trade advice on live setups for the broker's clients. Keeps the practitioner side current.

2021 to now

Founder · Markets Untold

Started producing forex content for brokers at the end of 2021. What began as a solo operation has grown into a focused content company built around real markets analysis, multiple analysts, one standard, no AI noise from people who've never traded.

2019 to 2021

Head of Investment Research

Last in-house broker role. Built and led an analyst team whose output made the firm's content viable for syndication onto Reuters Eikon, a credentialing milestone for the brand. The role that crystallized how the content side of the broker industry actually operates.

2017 to 2019

Analyst & in-house research roles

Relocated from the UK to Cyprus after completing an MBA at the University of Sussex, where I'd also done an MEng in Electronics. First years in Cyprus's broker ecosystem, multiple roles, multiple desks, all forex. The years that built the broker-side fluency Markets Untold is built on today.
